These programs are designed to help for-profit &amp; not-for-profit corporations in Canada solve their research challenges with academic expertise and leveraged funding from the government of Canada. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Social Media Lab can connect your business to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, who can apply their specialized expertise to your business challenges. Interns transfer their skills from theory to real-world application, while the companies gain a competitive advantage by accessing high-quality research expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Internships start at four months and can scale up as much as you need. Your financial contribution for Mitacs Elevate starts at $7,500 and $30,000 for the Mitacs Elevate program.
