The program is a competitive initiative for international undergraduates from <\/span><b>Australia, Brazil, China, France, India, Germany, Mexico, Tunisia, and Ukraine. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From May to October of each year, top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship under the supervision of Canadian university faculty members in a variety of academic disciplines, from science, engineering and mathematics to the humanities and social sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the bonus benefits of participating in the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship program is that you will also be eligible to apply for the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mitacs.ca\/en\/programs\/globalink\/globalink-graduate-fellowship\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Globalink Graduate Fellowship<\/span><\/a>,<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which provides $15,000 in financial support to former Globalink research interns who return to Canada for research-based graduate studies at Ryerson University and other eligible Mitacs academic partners.
