Accepted authors to #SMSociety 2022 will have an opportunity to submit their expanded Full Paper to a Special Issue of Social Media + Society

One of the benefits to submitting and presenting your research at the 2022 International Conference on Social Media & Society (#SMsociety) is access to additional publishing and professional development opportunities.

All #SMSociety conference presenters will receive an exclusive invitation to submit their work as an expanded full paper in a special journal issue of Social Media + Society (Published by SAGE, 5-yr Impact Factor: 5.073). Social Media + Society is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that focuses on advancing the understanding of social media and its impact on societies past, present and future.

The aim of the #SMSociety Special Issue is to bring together and highlight cutting-edge, late-breaking research from social media scholars working in many fields, including Communication, Information, Computer Science, Management, Education, Journalism, Political Science, Sociology, etc.

To qualify for a submission to the special issue, your research must be submitted, accepted and presented at the 2022 SMSociety conference on July 18-19, 2022.  For more information about how to submit to this year’s conference, please refer to the conference Call for Proposals and our Submission page.
