The session on Misinformation, Bots and #Democracy is part of the programme at the inaugural Canadian Internet Governance Forum, an event designed to “bring together various stakeholders for a national discussion on key issues affecting access to, and the safety, privacy and security of, the Canadian internet.”

Members of the panel, including Anatoliy Gruzd, Director of Research at the Ryerson Social Media Lab, Kevin Chan from Facebook Canada, and David Skok, Founder & Editor-in-Chief of The Logic will share their thoughts on some of the technical and regulatory challenges to combating fake news and misinformation and how we can safe guard elections in Canada.
