This week, I am attending the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) in Maui, one of the longest-standing continuously running scientific conferences in the world. I will be presenting the results of our lab’s latest research on why and how social science scholars are using social media for knowledge and information dissemination. The aim of this lastest research is to fill a void in the literature and to better understand changing scholarly practices in the age of social media.
